Introduction
#1
I write under the name of the Lone Voice. I do this to signify my insignificance. In this day and age where everybody wants to be a star, I prefer to be anonymous. I am not here for accolades, but hope to learn more about my Faith, Catholicism. I learn from reading other people's threads. I learn by writing. I learn by being wrong. Engagement is the key. I am a lifelong Catholic - and yet I feel there is so much more to be learned and understood. I attended Catholic school from sixth grade through college, taught by the Sisters of St. Francis in grade school, the Franciscan brothers in High School and Jesuits in College. I am a pure Vatican II Catholic, but have attended Latin masses and services, appreciating their beauty, reverence and respect for God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. I look forward to engaging with you, and through that engagement, coming closer to God.

Thank you for posting an Introduction, a well written one, and one that I very much appreciate and esteem.

I like the fact that you know yourself, that you how you best learn (by engaging with others - community), and the humbleness you exemplify.  It should be noted that how you learn, and sharing with others how you learn, is a great example of how other learn from you -- by learning from others example of discipleship and virtue.  To paraphrase the Apostle St. Paul: "learn from me to know Christ".

Because this is a newly formed Catholic Discussion Board, I encourage and welcome you to engage by commenting on what post are existing and any suggestions which could possibly improve its presence to help others.  There is a lot of work ahead of us here, and in time it will begin to blossom and flourish.
